Melissa Shafer, O.D., F.A.A.O. Dr. Shafer has been practicing optometry for fifteen years. She is a graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry and has completed a one year residency specializing in ocular disease. Among her honors, she has become a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.),and has been awarded best Doctor in Hendricks County. Dr. Shafer has also been nominated by the Consumers' Research Council of America as one of America's Top Optometrists.

Cathy has been in the optical industry for 25 years, so she is very knowledgeable and can answer your toughest questions.
She is ultimately concerned for your well being and ensures your needs are being met. She works as the optometric assistant, as well as in the dispensary ordering and repairing glasses.
Rhonda, Optician Rhonda has 20 years experience in the optical field, and is very knowledgeable. She is familiar with all the latest frames and lens styles, so she will be able to fit you in the best glasses for your lifestyle.
Play Area for Children
Since good vision is so critical to learning, we are committed to making an eye exam a fun experience for a child. We have a special play area just for children, offer a gift at the end of the exam, and explain each step of the process so they are more comfortable.
And to make it more enjoyable for parents, we offer $20 off our regular exam rate.

We carry a couple of unique lines that are sold exclusively in this area by our practice.
